Annual Traditional Wrestling Championship – 2019 20th Sept 2019
Sinhgad Foundation launched its first large-scale traditional wrestling event in 2019 with the goal of reviving and promoting mitti kushti (mud wrestling) — a sport deeply rooted in Maharashtra’s cultural identity. The event aimed at building physical fitness, mental discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among youth, while offering a platform for rural talent to progress to higher levels of competition.
